alloClae is an allogenic adipose tissue injectable, meaning it is made of sterile donor fat cells. Donor fat cells are an effective way to add volume to various body parts to create a smooth, youthful appearance. Preparation

Before receiving your alloClae injections, you will receive important preparation information. We may ask that you avoid any medications or supplements with blood-thinning properties, and nicotine and alcohol use should also be ceased multiple weeks before and after treatment. By following the guidelines provided to you, you help lay the foundation for a smooth treatment process and optimal results.

alloClae Treatment Process

On the day of your alloClae treatment, you should arrive with clean skin in comfortable clothing. We will numb the treatment area with a local anesthetic for your comfort.

Dr. Salcedo will carefully administer alloClae to a few select points in the targeted treatment area. Once the desired fullness is achieved, you may be left to rest briefly before being dismissed. The entire procedure usually takes 30 to 60 minutes, though this may vary depending on your goals.

After Your Treatment

Patients can resume their normal routines immediately after their alloClae injections, though we do recommend taking things easy for a day or two. Although the injection is minimally invasive, so you can drive yourself home afterward, we may recommend arranging transportation depending on the scale of your treatment. Over the next few weeks, the alloClae will settle into your body’s natural tissues, creating a fuller, plumper appearance in the targeted areas.

Results

How your results appear will depend on where you receive your alloClae injections, and what concerns you are addressing. Patients generally report seeing impressive improvements in fat distribution and volume, helping them achieve a round, plump, and youthful look. To preserve your results, you should maintain a stable body weight. If you lose or gain a significant amount of weight, your results might be impacted.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane add natural-looking volume to your skin to enhance the size of certain features or replace lost volume. They can serve a similar function to alloClae, but they are not fat-based and are not indicated for all the same areas as the injectable fat matrix.
